Doreen Renner

O.S.A., S.C.A., C.S.P.W.C.

Doreen resides in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and maintains studios in both Mississauga and Longboat Key, Florida, U.S.A.

She has a Fine Art Diploma from Sheridan College and has studied with many prominent Canadian and American artists.

She is an Elected Member of the following Professional Associations:

• The Ontario Society of Artists
• The Society of Canadian Artists
• The Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour
• The Colour and Form Society

She is the winner of the 2008 Mississauga Arts Award for Established Artist and her paintings have been juried into well over 100 prestigious art exhibitions throughout Ontario, Alberta and Japan and is the recipient of over 30 awards including the Toni Stevens Award for Best Acrylic in the Society of Canadian Artists 50th Anniversary Exhibition in Calgary, Alberta; Central Ontario Art Association "Lloyd Minshall Award" and "COAA Award"; Toronto Watercolour Society "Award of Merit"; Central Ontario Art Association "Best of Show" and Colour and Form Society "Woolfitts Award".

Her paintings are in public collections including: The Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, Ontario; Aegis Financial Services, Toronto, Ontario; Art Gallery of Mississauga, Mississauga, Ontario; The Shaver Hospital, St. Catharines, Ontario; Pallett Valo, L.L.P., Mississauga, Ontario; Mississauga City Council Office. Her work is also in private collections throughout Canada, U.S.A., England and Japan.

She is a former director of the Art Gallery of Mississauga, Visual Arts Mississauga and the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour.
